For too long, getting care at home has meant going through agencies, paperwork, and middlemen. The agency decides who walks into your home and adds its markup on top, a lot like buying a car through a dealership instead of from the maker. Families are left with few choices and unclear pricing. Skilled caregivers have little say in how, when, and for whom they work, or what they earn.
And the need keeps growing. Millions of our parents and grandparents are getting older and need care at home. We can't meet that with more red tape. We need a more direct way for families and caregivers to find each other.

Inviting someone into your home to care for someone you love is a big decision, so every caregiver on Kindred passes a Level 2 background check and ID verification, carries their own liability insurance, and has at least 500 hours of hands-on experience.
For caregiversSet your own rate, choose your hours and your clients, and connect directly with the families looking for you. You keep what you earn. No agency taking a cut, and no insurance billing paperwork.
We believe the person receiving care should have a say in who provides it, and the person providing care should have control over how they work and what they earn.
We're not here to decide who provides care or to take a cut of what you pay your caregiver. We're here to make the connection, then get out of the way and let the right people find each other.
